We are a long established Musical Instrument company, established in 1978 and based in the North West of England . Rimmers Music maintains an excellent reputation and is widely regarded as being one of the best Musical Instrument Retail Companies in the UK. Our traditional Acoustic Pianos are served by our in-house technician who ensures that all our pianos are meticulously tuned and maintained to perfection. Our dedicated team encompases many years of experience within the Music Industry and have extensive knowledge of this constantly evolving industry. In addition to our Bricks & Mortar Stores, we also have an immense online presence where you can browse our huge selection of Musical Instruments from all of the main brands. The oldest of our eight stores, our Leyland store was first opened in 1978 by founder, namesake and music enthusiast Frank Rimmer. Sold to then employee & pro musician Gary Tate not long after, nearly 40 years on Leyland is our flagship store upon which we aim to model each of our 7 other branches, all of which are still overseen by company MD Gary Tate. Many of the staff in store as well as a number of teachers from our Rimmers Music School Leyland are very active in the local music scene, some of whom have been with us for over 30 years. This wealth of experience as active musicians gives our staff the knowledge to help our customers make the right decisions when buying from us, and is also what keeps them coming back!
